Top 4 tussle

Think we've got Chelsea, Arsenal (I have tickets ) and Spurs coming up in the league.

We need to find form quickly. We also need to rest players this weekend regardless of risk; key players look dog tired.

We're still in top four so it's ours to lose but many more games like the last two and we will drop out of the top four and perhaps out of the chase.

Chelsea are nailed on for top 4. Spurs look solid but have lost key players and Arsenal, despite seasonal wobbles always find a way...city and Utd and ourselves drop points when expected to win but Utds current form is strongest.....i got it totally wrong 4 weeks ago when there was a nice gap to fourth. Now, for me, it's still 3 places up for grabs and any of 5 teams can steal them.

We need to be in the hunt at Easter. After that, it's down to having the form in the run in.

Interesting, although nerve wrecking season.

Just play the next game as well as possible and move on to cheslea then.

 

Keep cool. How can we possibly lose to wolves, languishing at the bottom of the championship? I've seen them play recently and they were dire. The only hope they have is to defend with 10 outfield players behind the ball and pray for a 0-0.

We will brush aside Wolves then get back on form by smashing Chelsea.

You're right about us, but Arsenal are still in it, but would have to win every game imo.

 

so... which of the games will knacker them then... off the top of my head i can think of 2 which therefore means there can't do it. they can't catch 2 of the clubs IMO.

 

They'd have to beat United at the Emirates and maybe Spurs at the Lane.

Realistically they won't win all 7. I reckon you need 10 points from 15 to ensure top 4.

 

To be on the safe side, we need between 79 and 80 points Tobes.

 

i think realistically i'm not even looking at l'arse. they are done. I am looking at utd and assuming they will win most of their games and all in hand so i am thinking 12/13 points needed.

 

If they are knocked out of the Europa cup. another ball game for Jose Mourinho.

 

United's run of fixtures is a shocker and they'll have EL games to navigate on top. I can't see them getting beyond an absolute maximum of 15 points

 

I wish... the chelsea game has to change our outlook. I really think actually ignoring pleasent banter with deigo that who blinks first will fail. I think if for example we win and utd draw next weekend that utd then have all the pressure.

If it goes the other way round? Id fancy utd to go beat city midweek and act like 4t is already theirs.

Certain lfc players like mingolet and firmino have stepped up to be counted but theres still 4/5 real numbskulls with little bottle.

True. The general assumption is they will go through.

Burneky away is purely a matter of getting a goal and zlatan will do that for them. The city game after is an interesting one.
