Top 3 for me, in terms of who catches the eye most out of at least half a dozen, would be McKenna, Hobbs and Koren. Chester has done well but I think he's had a dip in form recently, gone from outstanding to just very good! Rosenior is the model of consistency, but I think he is not as effective going forward this season as he was last. Andy Dawson as really shot up the leaderboard since Xmas with some great games recently. If Josh King continues to improve at his current rate he could well be in the running come the end of the season as he has been VERY impressive. For me the Player of the Season will be between Hobbs and McKenna.
1. Mannone 2. Chester 3. McKenna Koren and Hobbs would be in my top six but mannone is defo my number 1
Chester Rosenior Hobbs McKenna's been quality, but took his time to settle in so doesn't quite make the cut!
For me . Rossie, Koran Hobbs......no wait Chester, Evans, MacLean.....or Dawson, Fryatt, Stewart. Dam it forgot Manone, Brady, MacKenna.......This is hard
There have been some superbly consistent performers to date this season, 5 or 6 players could make the runners up slot. For me there is only one contender, and hands down our player of the season so far - Paul McKenna. I have to say I am surprised, as after the first few games I couldn't understand why we'd signed him. Since then he has been immense, the epitome of a holding midfielder, hasn't scored goals like Koren, but his job in the engine room has not gone un noticed. No other player is close to him in terms of stand out performances week in week out keeping the team ticking over like a well oiled machine. Exceptional.
Just put all their names on a piece of paper and draw them at random from a hat. Best way. 1- Koren 2- Chester 3- Hobbs
