Murphy was ****, Joelinton tried to outdo him but oddly enough seemed to miss him once he went off, Bruno wasn't his usual self, Longstaff was crap and Wilson did **** all other than annoy Pickford at his goal kicks.

Murphy is incredibly poor. And he’s better than Fraser. Inexplicably we’re sixth with players that wouldn’t get in the Forest side.

Agree with most of that, but I thought Wilson worked really hard. He made life difficult for their defence, held up play nicely a couple of times and won some important free kicks. Thought his overall game was pretty good, besides not scoring.

But yeah, Murphy simply just ****e.

    Longstaff poor.

Bruno and Joelinton both off the pace.

Miggy full of confidence and high work rate. Scored another blinder.

    Defence rock solid.

Placement would have been fine with normal arms

Was that a foul by Schar on Onana before the goal, and could Joelinton have been sent off?

I want us to win with dodgy decisions.

The dodgy decisions are winning with Murphy and Longstaff in the team.

We struggle from fatigue, especially on the wings and in the middle. We have a tireless playing style, we constantly apply pressure and chase the ball.

So when a midweek game like this comes along, right after a hard match at Man Utd, we are sluggish and slow. But we still got the points and that's what's important.

    Bruno specifically today looked shattered.

Yes I agree with this entirely. Game is about high pressure and it’s hard to do that twice a week.

So good result in the end.

Bruno’s wife is about to drop a baby. Maybe they are not sleeping well and he’s tired.

Must be a shoe in for player of the month in October. He’s scored 4 goals in 4 games.

I thought Joelinton was lucky to not be sent off which is why he was replaced at half time, the fact that he wasn’t probably helped Gordon not get sent off in my opinion.

I don’t think we could’ve have argued much if they’d been awarded a penalty for that push on Gordon in the box albeit it was ****ing soft as ****e….just like him, but I’ve seen them given and I’m surprised VAR never looked at it. It’s about time these decisions started going our way cos we’ve been shat on numerous times earlier in the season.

Teams like Everton will search for any chance to get a peno and cry their eyes out when they don't get them.

But they also had an even 50% of possession and only 1 shot.

So maybe the problems aren't exactly what they think.

VAR did review it and quickly decided it was not a pen.
But you're right, I've seen ones like that given before, so we still got away with it.

It certainly wasn't pretty and was a tough old physical contest, but ultimately managed to score and then cling on to get the job done, despite that ugly **** keep going down. Somehow kept a clean sheet, which was a bonus, but came away with a few injuries.

Oh wait, sorry, wrong thread. Thought i was posting on the 'Chippy's going to the Bigg Market" thread.
