This is not the point. Right now we just need to keep getting behind them with everything we've got. Any negativity from the stands only serves to create an unnecessary headwind. Howe will have a very clear idea of what the challenges but we've got ourselves in a good position, which in my mind we HAVE to capitalize on while some other sides are in a sticky spot so let's not make it more difficult
There were one or two groans from the crowd but that was down to passes going astray It wasn't negativity The anger was aimed at the poor officials and the double standard reffing 2 mins added in the first half despite 2 goals 2 VAR referrals and several stoppages for injuries 3mins added time with 6 second half subs and several stoppages due to players going down = another ref with a faulty watch Did I mention that todays ref was the same ref that gave Maddison a pen against us for a blatant dive and **** VAR agreed with him
Bet if you looked at the Willock out of play goal from a birds eye view part of the ball would have been on the line.
Gonna say it now. Howe is a bit safe atm. We are drawing too many games. We were the same at the beginning of the season. Gordon looks a good player mind.
Apart from taking a doomed team to the top four and Wembley. Shades of what did the Romans do for us here
Anyone slightly worried about Trippiers delivery/set pieces recently? Don't get me wrong, he's ****ing class but just sayin.
Think it's possibly more to do with a lack of movement from Wilson recently, and a lack of attacking heading prowess from Burn. Was just thinking I can't remember him heading a ball on target for us yet. He wins plenty but they always either go skyward and drop down for someone else or miles over the bar. I can't recall a keeper making a single save against one of them. In addition we never have someone deep on the back post. which is starting to piss me off something rotten
