Not good enough. Questions need to be asked of game management. We are fortunate that Liverpool and Chelsea are terrible too. No chance of top 4 if we play like this more often

No real problems for us at all that game with the exception of the corner they scored from. Agree we have to find a way of breaking these teams down. Gordon may well help with that. For me looks like Maddiaby should be being prioritized to come in early in the summer and an actual left back is required unless Targett can get back on song
I said he's a super sub, but it's one too many injuries. He's been out most of the season, he looks slow, not really with it, can't run like he did.
Most worryingly for me is in all the interviews with Newcastle players he was given as the man you couldn't get the ball off. Now it looks frighteningly easy. Add his seeming lack of pace to get knock a ball past a defender and run onto it, I don't know what he offers. Gordon to start next week for me
Based on Gordon’s 25 min cameo ASM should NEVER get in the side against him….EVER. ASM was dogshit, ****ING DOGSHIT. He needs to be ****ed off in the summer, big time. Still unbeaten which is a positive but we’ve drawn just under half of our games this season…we could have won half of those with a better depth of quality in our squad, that HAS to be our priority in the summer regardless of whether we’re in Europe or not. As roly said on another thread, we’ve come out of 3 transfer windows and we’re still going into games with the likes of Murphy and Fraser in our squad. Had Isak been fit Wilson would have been subbed most likely with about 15-20 mins to go which again highlights our need for reinforcements in that area. Maybe the cup final is in the back of players minds and not wanting to pick up an injury or suspension, we certainly don’t have the quality in depth for certain players to worry about being dropped!
Wilson will never be dropped... I'm not sure how the manager can address this ... the side is overloaded with grafters and has no quality whatsoever in fwd areas. Isak is made of bolsa wood , max has been made into a worse player and Wilson is getting old.
Maybe but right now I see Brighton playing much better than newcastle and aren't far behind. Newcastle fans have definitely fell into the trap of believing in their own hype . If you look at the 11 today it's pretty crap on paper... harding work and a good coach , but had not one quality player in fwd areas. Anyone thinking man united aren't better is on glue.
