It's a 12 noon kick off (BST)
8pm over there.
It will still be hot and humid out there so I expect Eddie to rotate his squad into 2 teams as he has done in the previous 3 games against Celtic, K Select and Arsenal

I think it's more about fitness than final team formation with many of the under 21's involved

There are doubts over Botman, Willock and Tonali while Hall hasnt featured at all

This is also what it looks like he intends to do with this coming Friday and Saturday games against Espanyol and Athletico

Ps
I don't know who the ref is but I'm sure I will be able to add a comment or two later

Newcastle look unlikely to win a single pre season game at this point.

Nick Pope; Kieran Trippier, Fabian Schär, Dan Burn, Matt Targett; Bruno Guimarães, Lewis Miley, Joelinton; Jacob Murphy, Anthony Gordon, Harvey Barnes.

Yep, more minutes for Targett, a back line with an average age of 33 and no striker. Oh and of course no new players starting for the third year in a row.

It's just a fitness thing but it does highlight how crap Newcastles defensive options are and not just the striker department.

In actual fact literally all areas need signings...

Looks like a Steve Bruce team.

Watch us win.

Pope took 2 mins to look like someone's dad on the pitch and then Murphy to fall over.

This is extremely worrying how **** we are playing and I know it’s a friendly. But **** me the season starts next week.

We look like a bunch of pensioner’s. No offence to any on here.
