LOL, nothing else for it. Absolutely shocking. We are so inconsistent. If you think we are progressing this season, we arent. Low block we cant handle, same as last year.

Still lets beat Burnley and at least we keep picking up points but this season is all on the cups as league we just cant cut it!

Our side are useless at holding onto leads...they literally ask for it, that's why..

It's a point, but we're not getting anywhere...

Howe once again ****ed up imo... Tried being cute with his selection, and twice tried to sit on a one goal lead..

So weak mentally, happening too often now, how many ****ing points do we want to throw away in added time.

And before anyone says, no i don't want Howe out, but do better at holding on to a lead ffs, it's your job.

12 points thrown from winning positions, joint top. Thats a problem what needs fixing.

Un-****ing-believable! That should have been comfortable. 2 more points dropped…

Not sure how Eddie toughens this lot up, but we’ve got to get better at seeing out leads.

    I absolutely agree
It’s Howes ****ing Job to get results and anyone who is choosing to let these results pass are either happy clappers or mental.

This is a perfect example of Howe fails.

    Sorry.

Everytime now it seems - we score a goal and we seem to instinctively start to sit back. We dont seem to want to make it easy and score more. We have this insane belief we can see out a 1-0 win. Just mental, we are good at pressing and attacking so do it. We arent good at possession and controlling the game, so dont do it!

We constantly let one in after scoring despite scoring 4 in a row in the last game? Interesting....

By the way, Sunderland are known for scoring in the last 10 mins, added time. Put your money on it, might help soothe the pain when it happens

yeah, and for 20 mins after that 1st goal - we sat back and Everton nearly equalised. You quote one game, I can quote 5-6 games of sitting back and last minute goals.

We didn't really sit back though, both their goals tonight were out of nowhere really, we were especially dominating when they first eqaulised.

If you want rid of Pope we need to bring someone else in. Ramsdale is no better.

Disagree, we sat back. We always sit back, we dont even vary it. If going to sit back then tell one of Gordon or Elanga to sit high up in our own half. If we get the ball, play is down to the channels and let them try and win a footrace. We dont do that its everyone behind the ball and the pressure builds and goal in the 90+ minute again. Same ****, different week!

Beeb calling Romero goal "superb" just cos it was an overhead kick, was a pretty hideous goal really, he totally mis-hit it and the defenders just watched it roll in instead of clearing it. More just crap defending than sitting back tbh, should have easily been cleared.
