I do seriously think it should all be mic'd up. The only problem is from my playing experience, once you are full adrenaline and hyped up, you tend to let a few expletives go without thinking.
Chris Waddle and his vowels I don't know anyone else who comes from Felling who talks the way Waddle does. His use of the vowels o and a which he does to make himself sound posher just results in him sounding like a tit. Same goes for a few more of the local footballers. To get it right, you can talk with a local accent but not do the slang. People will understand that. No need to posh-up your vowels. Why aye?
