Match Day Thread Toon v Derby

He's picked up loads recently, I couldn't stand him to start with, but he's a decent part of the team now, and we definitely missed him during the ACON.

He's actually getting goals now, and he's reigned in the wild shooting everytime he gets the ball, plus he strong and actually pretty skillful. Rather him in the team than ****ing Perez losing constantly losing position and missing one on ones with keeper.

 

I think Perez does things oerex doesn't like work his arse off that seems to being missed immsad to say.

i hope Perez plays and scores a brace

 

Can I add I don't like to see Ritchie screaming at players like he did it's not helpful and in all honesty he isn't brilliant himself !

If you look st that chance it wasn't an easy pass anyway and if Perez had failed to find him the haters would say "why didn't that useless **** shoot".

If it went in he'd be a hero

Ritchie has gotten 11 goals and 8 assists this season... he's almost our most effective player based on those stats and also the fact that he works his arse off every game.

A little surprised that Murphy has been dropped for Mitro.

I'm not a big mitro fan but fielding Murphy over him is like pardew fielding amoebi ahead of Ben arfa or souness fielding amoebi ahead of kluivert

 

Well done Rafa, dropping both Lascelles and Perez!

 

Mitro has something to prove and he does give us an aerial threat. Plenty of options on bench if needs be providing Rafa does'nt leave it too late should the need arise.

 

Murphy seemed pretty reliable, Mitro is a huge gamble considering how wayward he was was against Oxford.

Perez needed to go, and Laescelles was dire against QPR....but bringing Hanley in? He's look immobile and dodgy whenever he's played.

To me this is exactly why we needed to buy a central midfielder - we have none on the bench (would rather that then have Colback though)
