I'm taking heart from people who still think we can do it, but is that just blind optimism?

There's all sorts of things to factor in with the Karius situation, like he won't be used to how we try and pass it out from the keeper etc, if Man Utd have any sense they will close him down, he either ****s up or he boots it long back to them again, i'm almost more worried about that than him not saving shots etc.

We are right up against it but there is some hope i suppose.

We've played them and drew 0-0 at their place already. They have a big game Thursday night. They are looking a decent shout for a title challenge. We have Bruno back, which is critical and he's going to be super fresh but not rusty. Trippier is unlikely to play worse than he just did, same with Schar and Botman. ASM is coming into form. Isak will be another week fitter. Willock's back to link up with Big Joe.

We're underdogs, and by a distance, but I haven't been impressed by Man U all season and whilst they are finding a way to win and probably will again Sunday, it's not foregone. Maybe its good that we've disappeared a bit and fallen out of form.

But I will get the beers in, the heart will be racing and hope will rear it's pretty head for the first time in 24 years on Sunday afternoon.

Man united have improved massively since then mind and newcastle are in a dip.

There's no getting away from them being favourites but it's more chance that newcastle win this game than finishing 4th .

Maybe we get lucky for once .

We have absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain.

It’s going to be a wonderful weekend.

Let’s just enjoy it for what it is.
