People don't want to criticize Eddie which i get but it was a rather dumb move playing Pope it has to be said.

Dubs is a good keeper anyway and Sunday is far bigger than what the Liverpool game was.

I just can't shake the feeling that we've ****ed any chance we did have and i'm quite down about it all really.

All this talk of Pope is ridiculous. To envisage a red card is ludicrous and anyone claiming they would have played Dubs to protect Pope is lying. With respect to fielding a reserve/back up eleven, that might make some sense, if you think a trophy is more viable than top four.

Our survey asked 100 contestants would you have played Pope against Liverpool before the game started.

Survey said 98 Yes. 2 No.

That's great and all but the point remains we are now totally ****ed for the biggest game in the clubs history for 24 years.

Why, how, if, maybe, it doesn't matter, the fact is we've got to play a bloke who he didn't even want on the bench ahead of Darlow in a major cup final.

You mean due to him not having a contract at that time or very little time remaining on it?

You don't have to think to hard to look at your squad and see your back up keeper Is cup tied.

Once you've established that Pearl of wisdom it's easy to spot the risk and then you make a decision... unfortunately that decision backfired.. it might not have .

None of that requires hindsight.

Anyway it is what it is...

This is true. Have just heard that the ban might not be imposed for the final.

It’s probably horseshit mind.

We are surely going to appeal anyway even if there's a 1% chance.

Worst ways he also misses Man City away, so ****.
