So for me the leadership have failed of late. Our squad is ****ing awful. It was 14 months ago, it still is three windows later. That is Ashley levels of incompetence.

Our overall squad needs a lot of work. Our scouting has constantly let us down. We are not and were not a team who should have been paying £60m for Isak or £40m for Gordon, we needed to get the squad ready because being in a position today where Matt Ritchie and Jacob Murphy are yet again getting game time is not acceptable.

I’d be as ranty under Ashley. Whether it’s naive from the owners, whether Howe is too faithful, in don’t know but people are putting too much faith in **** players and we are not doing enough to strengthen the squad. Howe ****ed us from the start with a terrible tactic and selection - Anderson isn’t even a PL player, never will be. But the whole leadership team are getting it wrong with where we are.

it’s frustrating because we are throwing away a golden chance.

Doesn't help when your CF is only fit for 5 games a season, allegedly.
 
So with 4th gone now and the cup the question is can we hold on for a top 6 place?

Ffs they got caught out by two brilliant passes and otherwise played well even with a man down tu Liverpool .

Its all about next week....

They scored against the run of play and newcastle could've been 2 up ... Newcastle should've been doing nothing vs 10 men but it was almost like 11 vs 11 .. Do people realise how hard it is to do that?

Their keeper won them that game imo... made 3 1 on 1 saves ....

All we've got to endure now is losing another final hearing cheer up Alan Shearer ring out until our limbic systems are red raw , failing to land 4th and all the fans of other clubs to come out from under the quilts again laughing at us
