The two cbs are awful and so is Howes in game management, it's not even up for debate at this point because we all know it. The club will never be successful with these players and Howe and his coaching team.
Balanced reasoning isn’t going to get you any likes. I will. Because what you say is completely correct. But there are so many fans who see otherwise and I can’t understand why. They seem to think I he’s the Keegan mk2 but he’s not even close to Keegan levels. I'm not saying he's awful, that it's all terrible, that he needs sacking now. He's done an awful lot of good and I recognise obviously that PSR has been the most impactful factor rather than Howe. There's just an amount of mistakes that are happening on repeat and we seem to be getting worse, consistency is lacking, there's a lack of conviction, direction and plan b - seeing Willock come on and saying "4-4-2" was incredible, you knew then we were getting beaten today. There was a period where players have been elevated, but they are almost all going backwards apart from our top class players, Tonali and Isak. But you cannot tell me that these two seriously thought they'd be playing the ball to Trippier, Burn, Wilson or Targett this far into the takeover? We'll never know what went on with PSR or why we made such a ****ing pigs ear of it, why anyone thought Barnes was a good way to spend £40m or why we've held on to Burn, Trippier, Wilson, etc., so far past their sell by date they're worthless. I don't know now why Darren Eales is still the CEO. All I do believe is that Howe is a part of some of these problems, he has to be. The Summer will be a huge indication of the next phase, if there is one happening as of now.
