You’re bang on

they were ****ting all over the team they (allegedly) support from about minute 1…. they continued to **** all over them and say the team had no goals in it, and the manager was ****, right through the match… there was a sort of “fair weather” fan bump just before we lost but that just segued into a “we’re **** chorus again”.

the fact that we played the current League Champions into a corner for about 70% of the game was neither here nor there, the fact that we scored two goals from 0-2 down with ten men was neither here nor there, the fact that our players and fans (in the ground) had more heart than I’ve seen for a long time on the pitch was neither here nor there…. No, the overriding sense was that we’ve won the “Milk Cup, whoopee doo” and Howe has no idea how to manage a football team.

****ing disgraceful in here - no wonder “delusional” took hold

I watched the game and didnt comment in here. I thought we played well but we all knew the sucker punch was coming. We all knew because we are Newcastle and we've seen it so many times before.

Cos I don't get overtaken by anger.

I see that performance as what is was, awesome considering the circumstances.

Simple fact is Liverpool need to be better if they want to win the league, they won't do that ever game.

Okay, you see differently to me as I see 3 points to Liverpool and 0 for Newcastle. So proud of those zero points

I don't think it was his fault... I blame Gordon and then Pope.. Just clumsy moments cost the club
I’ll have this… “clumsy moments” cost the result tonight. But that was a team performance to take heart in. We were playing the League Champions… we’d have lost 0-4 a few years ago and wouldn’t have muttered a note of surprise … we’re rising. That people are whingeing now at this sort of fine margin is just stupid and lacks an appreciation of reality.

One point down from the Liverpool home game from last season, one point up from the Villa away game from last season. Could be worse I suppose. That said, it should have been at least 4 points on the board with the displays the team have put in. Rat b*stard has a lot to answer for. Personally I hope that PIF decide that they can afford to bring in the new strikers we need and a creative midfield player and let rat b*stard rot in the fcukin' stiffs. Fcuk selling him to the wallpushers!

I “feared” it might come… but I never knew it… at 0-2 down I thought we might see something awful - I didn’t, I saw a magnificent team effort - and that’s valuable for the whole season ahead

.
We lost its just a way of glossing over things, which is fine but always done after defeats

We're 2 games without a win and played vs 10 men ourselves in the 1st game.

Howe confirming that both Tonali and Joelinton's injuries look like they might be bad. Both players were in a lot of pain when coming off.

Joelinton is ****ed that's why he was visibly upset and Tonali will probably be missing for months.

We're ****ed this season... Major problems ahead
