Gutting to lose last minute, but I'm more concerned about the injuries to two of our best players in Tonali and Joelinton. Both looked like they could be fairly bad.

It’s not even smash and grab, I knew exactly what would happen, Liverpool knew what would happen and just rode it out (easily) then let us do something stupid.

We have players out there from the Ashley era, aged and slow defenders who are just getting worse and worse. Schars been great at times, trippier was very important, burn defied expectations, but all three are ****ing miles away from what’s needed and what’s worse is we have far, far better players sat on the bench. The striker farce this summer is a ****ing shambles and with any luck Andy Howe gets canned. That hopefully sharpens Eddies mind because if he doesn’t do better this season he’ll be gone, for all the wonder of the milk cup success.

that’s a serious oh-****-off moment for me, Roly

That’s fair. When the dust settles we played extremely well but we are lacking the final ingredients.

It was a red card I don’t have any doubts.

The game was a good one and I think that the whole game was one of the classics. Albeit we lost which hurts and we are used to that.

We gave it all and nearly got something. But the defending for your kid scoring was abysmal. But he still had to put it in the net.

Watch pope. If anyone thinks pope is a good gk watch this goal. He stood there like he was stoned.

Our goalkeeper is dreadful... E="Charlie Dogscock, post: 18616362, member: 1040557"]Can't score goals argument doesn't work tbh, as we scored 2 in the second half.

Another slant - we can't score goals with Gordon as striker then can score when he's not a striker.[/QUOTE]

The need far too many chances to score.. Good sides will take theirs and win.

All anyone can do is try to tell themsleves about positives, but it's only because it was Liverpool. Next week if they lose it'll start becoming difficult to bullshit ourselves out of.

Ultimately this side is already picking up injuries, suspensions, can't score more goals easily, concedes easily and is already out of the race for Europe if they lose at Leeds.

I can't see this team winning many games because like I said last week if you don't score goals when you're dominating games you're going to lose lots of games.

I dont agree, I think we are a top 7 side now. But I want us to be No1. Yasir said he did as well but his actions make me not believe him.

This transfer window should be his wake up call. It should have put fire in his belly about how his team is being ****ed over and how PIF are being ridiculed. If that is not a call to action to actual engage and take on the PL then I dont know what is.

Announce the CEO, announce SD, announce Stadium plans, announce sponsorships coming out of our arses and finally announce we are taking the PL to court for anti competitive and promoting a cartel situation.

Do something, show your power because if you dont after this summer then annnouce what your intentions are because we are on the cusp of something here. Make the next step a powerful one!!!!

I 100% agree. It’s time for things to be addressed.

We have a spirited performance mind.

And the "we have players from the Ashley era" bollocks again. All of 4 seasons ago.

Yes, we had Joelinton (who could have been MOTM) and Schar. Wow.

<doh>

Gordon is beginning to irritate..

Top 7 looks very difficult imo...Leeds away will be telling though

There's always sides that dominate games but lose regularly and its for the exact reason outlined.

Newcastle need far too many chances per goal and they're a soft touch when the other side gets in the final 3rd.

It's a recipe for a very bad season.

You mean team a who have a £150m striker in their team? Yes, I do agree.
But we don’t. He’s downed tools. And he’s the main reason why this season has started like ****.

If we has him playing I genuinely believe we would have six points.

Gordon is not and never will be a striker and the fact that Howe is trying this over Osula is baffling.

Yeah if you are going to play then play to win. Im not here to take part, I want NUFC to win. Im not here to say we lost but I am proud. That just an excuse to accept not winning.

EXACTLY. That isn't Gordon's fault.

People need to stop blamng Gordon, he's doing what he's being asked to do and trying his best - too much so tonight.

Isak isn't.
