It’s not even smash and grab, I knew exactly what would happen, Liverpool knew what would happen and just rode it out (easily) then let us do something stupid.
We have players out there from the Ashley era, aged and slow defenders who are just getting worse and worse. Schars been great at times, trippier was very important, burn defied expectations, but all three are ****ing miles away from what’s needed and what’s worse is we have far, far better players sat on the bench. The striker farce this summer is a ****ing shambles and with any luck Andy Howe gets canned. That hopefully sharpens Eddies mind because if he doesn’t do better this season he’ll be gone, for all the wonder of the milk cup success.

Blows my mind how as soon as anything goes wrong there is a load of Howe fkd up comments. I do think we need Osula on now though. Only option is to hit him and get some others round him.

It's the reluctance to play our new players I can't stand.
Thiaw is sat there looking like a right ****, Ramsay who can actually score, he's probably sorting the bibs like an apprentice

Point is Barnes will still be out there second half while Gordon sits in the dressing room.
Admittedly I still wouldn’t bet on Barnes to score before Gordon in the second 45…
This is why Howe will never be elite but is a good manager.
