These decisions that take forever to decide with video evidence etc. The fact is if it’s so marginal. Let the game flow.

VAR is for clear errors. The word being “clear” it was not clear the ball went out. It wasn’t a foul (Joelinton) and it wasn’t clear that Gordon was offside.

End of discussion.

 

Do you actually know the rules?

VAR is there to stop clear and obvious errors. They checked 3 separate possible errors and never seen a clear or obvious error. End of. Move on. Nothing to see here.

 

Howe didn't make an issue of it but i can assure you that I did complain.

Arteta needs a ban for bringing the game into disrepute.

He just needs a ban. He’s the kind of person that saves a game on football manager and reloads the game if he loses.

On Sky they have Lee Hendrie discussing goal. He doesn’t know the rules. He thinks it wasn’t a goal and Havertz wasn’t a sending off.

His reasoning for the not sending off was that he accepted if lead leg catches Longstaff then it’s a red but as it was the trail leg then it’s not!! Plus Havertz isn’t that type of player.

On the goal he thought there was enough in the incidents to not allow it but then accepted that it could not be established that the ball was out and then Gary Neville was right that Gabriel was going down to head the ball and missed it before any contact with Joe and that Gordon couldn’t be shown to be offside but he still wouldn’t have awarded the goal.

I just hope he isn’t being paid for being on Sky. He’s an imbecile who doesn’t know the rules but is being portrayed as an expert.

 

I don't hold an extreme view either way .. it's subjective.

If it was ruled out it would have been OK for them and not for us.

I don't understand why everyone needs their opinions lick arsed by a guy who dresses like a lesbian.

 

If any of the decisions were clearly and obviously made in error it would have been overruled.

 

Mental gymnastics can convince anything people simply want to believe.. it's one of them.

 

It always helps if people actually understand the Laws of the Game and the criteria that VAR operates under before ‘artetaring’.
