    Really?! That's your response by asking a normal price for a player in good form. Who has been at Ajax through the enitire youth academy. Played for 3 seasons straight in Europe and has already 3 caps. 8 million pounds is still a bargain. I'd call them idiots at Ajax if they go lower than 10 million quid.

    nufc.com have been negative for as long as I can remember now. I rarely read any of their articles, mainly go on there for fixture info etc... still a handy site.

    He's versatile but all the reports seem to suggest he's a better midfielder than full back. I could see the sense in terms of taking a load off Tiote and releasing Cabaye in a midfield 3, but we're not desperate for him. I'd still prefer a natural left back but I can see why folk like Debuchy. It would concern me though because Santon is only at about 80% at left back. Centre half like you say is one of the obvious priorities.
