    i have just returned from a pub quiz

    we didnt win


    although i won a bonus question (ish...it was a guess the combined amount of years these people have been in coronation street..and i guessed and i got the closest) so won 4.60
    bought a beer, a packet of crisps, and a game of pool for me and the lads
    all is good

    Aye, we didn't cheat obviously, but you can just tell people are on ****ing iPhones.
    I did very good on the music section, tis my forte...

    Last week in the quizzes 'pictures round' where you name the faces there was a picture of Joey Barton :D
    I didn't go, but my brother brought the sheet home and as soon as I saw it from a distance I was like BAM, Joey!!!!

    Android would win the pub quiz battle. They would be level in the question rounds and music round through google and the music recognition apps.

    However google phones have google goggles which is a scarily accurate picture recognition app. I think it works with famous faces as well as landmarks, artwork etc so it would win the picture round.

    Me and my friends won once. Without cheating. The feckers in charge didnt believe us. <grr>

    My local usually gives out a bottle of wine for the team with the best team name, we usually win that with a Sickipedia joke <ok>.

    another quiz we go to gives a bottle of vino as second prize.
    not as good as tonight, where cash prizes are awarded to 4th place and above!
    we came like 9th out of 18 teams. so not bad. pushing for europe there, as me and someone else kept joking!

    our team name was a very predictable Norfolk 'n' Chance. wasn't our choice though. have used that name so many times in the past.
