Toon in for Zaha

All English teams should have an English backbone. Its the English PL, not the International League of Nations! There are rules in place to ensure home grown talent and importantly English talent are required. You can see the big teams starting to adjust their squads accordingly. We are starting to produce a better class of player too, more technical. There is no excuse to continually look abroad. We should be looking to produce more and more, and actually export talent so they experience foreign football.

I'm keen for an English backbone but it will take time. There are huge problems with fees for the top English talent. Look at Shawcross, he'd cost way too much. So you have to do what we are, bring through Aarons, sign the likes of Darlow/Lascelles. Zaha has undoubted talent but it is hard to tell how far backwards he has gone. Cardiff was not pretty!

 

Considering how ****e and how passionless England is I think it's total bollocks.
