They should make an example of him. If not to make it clear it’s not acceptable anywhere but also to show that it’s not Liverpool fans that are racist but idiots are.

You can’t tarnish the Liverpool fans just because of one or two idiots.

Good game last night btw. Shows you have some problems at the back.

its same every time. At least in England we don’t seem to have whole sections singing racist songs or doing monkey chants etc but idiots are always going to be idiots.

Same way that people are always going to murder people, some people will always use racist language. Unfortunately no matter how many adverts / campaigns / statements are made - people are going to continue to do it.

First was last night but it won’t be the last time this season up and down the country. You only hope that by giving them proper punishment will deter people but those people if don’t do it at a football ground will still likely do it out in the public anyway. You’re never ever going to eradicate racism in same way never going to eradicate any discrimination or eradicate murderers or ****philes unfortunately, but at least come down hard on them to try deter people. Thats unfortunately the only thing that’s going to make a difference to these people.

Why are you answering folk and not addressing my question?

Because the post you’re talking about didn’t excuse the guy at all. Point was making is don’t give the guy air time - find him, kick him out and let authorities deal with it which is exactly what happened and as others have pointed out - it is 1 twat in a crowd of 50k plus some of which were nearby and reported it and helped the police.

Much like you can’t tarnish all palace fans last week who booed during the minute silence for Jota, you can’t tarnish all Liverpool fans because one twat decided to racially abuse a player.

Rubbish. The poster said the comments made by the media were way ott in an attempt to tarnish anfield and the Liverpool fans reputation.
Appreciate the reply though.

Sunderland top of the league for about 2 hours or something. This will be their claim to fame for years following relegation.

Good result... It'll take a little time for the Premier league to eat away their spirits. Fixtures they have early are fair weather

The great pep has finally fixed the issues by spending hundreds and hundreds of millions.

Lol, wolves have spent **** all, again, whereas the glorious Pep has added Reijnders. Chekri, Ait Nouri and whoever else and had to sell precisely nobody to make room. Pep bemoaned his bloated squad yet here we are.

The managerial thing a bit silly at that level. He's managed clubs that always win things.

The entire sport is barely any different to a soap opera.

All mostly pre determined.

On top of Marmoush who was added at the beginning of the year. Pretty sure he said he’d walk away if the club didn’t sell players as he couldn’t go on trying to keep everybody happy and explain to good players week in week out why he couldn’t pick them. Oh ****, sorry…they’ve loaded out Grealish and sold McAtee.

Football is now just like formula 1... They're shifting towards a world club/super league in the future I think, which will be a closed shop like nfl.

The conditioning has already started with the club world cup... Whether we like it or not the yanks love it and they'll get their way. Contrary to popular belief, I think the super league would sadly work. They'll all pay to watch it at the end of the day and they'll pay lots.

The fans of the **** clubs left out will still watch the PL and follow their clubs. It'll just not big be the same glossy PL. It'll be the new fizzy, they'll still think something can happen for them, but it won't, they'll still want to stay in it and celebrate the occasional low block draw vs the big 6 clubs.

It might take a few decades, but that's where football will end up I think. You'd have to be really naive to think it won't at some point in some form.

I have a feeling they will stay up mate. They will get enough points at home.
Agree. I think they are looking better placed than Burnley, Leeds, Wolves and even West Ham. Fulham probably need to add more to their squad as well, to avoid a relegation battle.

Yes I agree. I said they would win the first 3 games and I stand by that.
