Burnley have signed his replacementBringing in Ekitike to fill the 2nd striker role, that I believe Pedro was destined for, would be insane. With the fees involved however, I think it highly unlikely.
Maybe if we had funds for Pedro, we could direct those to Ekitike and hold fire on Trafford to make up the shortfall? If Burnley go down again, we could get Trafford for less next summer...

I wonder if a big loan fee with a transfer next season may work?
Weiss played in the German equivalent league. First team player. Doubt he signed to chill on the benchThat keeper was only for €4m, likely a makeshift but not Trafford quality.
I suspect Burnley would accept around a £40m loan fee and not much less at this point. May have more luck with a down-payment on a transfer this summer with the rest to be made next and Trafford loaned ba k to Burnley for the season.
In reality, Burnley would much rather keep Trafford there I think, so no "creative" deal is likely to be too successful
This makes no sense whatsoever. Let’sdo a buy him now and pay later…. But pay for it now on amortisation, and loan him back to a club that’s going to get ****ed more times than Bonnie blu, to then bring him next year when he’s worth £3.75 despite paying £40m this year??????That keeper was only for €4m, likely a makeshift but not Trafford quality.

Thought they just couldn’t play in same competition as Lyon so they have been downgraded to conference league. Don’t see the issue - it’s clearly stated in the rules.Palace are told they can't play in Europe despite winning the cup. He's upset.
I feel for their fans tbh, stupid they don't get any play and I'd be gutted.
Edit, 3 words: Too Long; Don't

Main problem once again though is that the rules aren’t being interpreted in the same way for each club.
They finished higher than Palace in their League.Quick question, why aren’t Lyon the ones downgraded?

They are beating PSG 2-0. And they are the most improved side in Europe. We beat them just 2 short months ago without even breaking a sweat
And if I recall Jackson stupidly got himself self off which helped us massively. We beat them just 2 short months ago without even breaking a sweat

I think they are a terrible club. And spending stupid money. But they have a great team now.

That’s a fair point. 3-0 now. This will give them enough money for another 300 signings. Other thing to consider is they could be ****ed come start of season. It's 33 days away and none of those players have had a break. They'll need a few weeks off then have to come back for pre-season about a week before the campaign kicks off. Could effect them and then if they lose the first few confidence could be an issue. Here's hoping anyway.
