You've got to say maybe we missed a trick not giving the job to Carsley... His few games in charge of the seniors he had 5 wins 1 loss in 6 (and the loss was the only game Kane missed of those). Scored 16 conceded 3 and 4 clean sheets.
The u21's were great to watch last night, attacking minded, forward passing, over lapping runs, wingers taking on their full backs and interchanging at the top of the pitch confusing the Czechs. Compared to the games against Andorra (ranked 183) and Senegal (19) it was chalk and cheese. Even against Latvia (138) and Albania (66) we were slow and boring to watch - across the 3 games in qualifiers we've only scored 6 goals against teams not even in the top 50 in the world and two of them outside the top 100.
I thought he should’ve got it. Picking a club manager just makes no sense.
Who needs a new backup striker? Osula's got 3 goals in 2 games for Denmark in the U21 Euros...

Watching Chelsea -LAFC at Club World Cup. If this is future of football then count me out. Each player coming out individually, after being announced, to a stadium that has more empty seats than the SOL in the 60th minute.

Love to see the viewing figures for the tv audience and specifically where it comes from. Pretty sure there are very few in the UK bar Chelsea and City fans watching and even less watching it legally…
