Terrible game but so glad Spurs won. Us, Palace and Spurs, it's a great season.
It is. Let’s make sure we beat Everton and the so called big six are about to fall apart.

Manu now won’t have a dime to spend.

Chelsea are surely under FFP scrutiny.

Man City 115 charges about to land.

3 teams about to be destroyed next season.

Wonderful stuff. Genuinely looking forward to seeing what happens with Man U now. No European football and the related finances could be a huge blow for them. Ratcliffe was pretty clear they are in a massive hole already this season and there’s not many behind the scenes staff for him to sack left so it’s going to be a huge rebuild for them. 18 players on £100k+ pw and 10 of them on or above what our top earner is making…

Dare I say it, but is PSR, despite the narrative that it's there to keep the establishment in n place playing into this and good club management, good coaching (ok, maybe not spurs) being rewarded above pure spending power?
Like any business, good club management is the key part of the equation. While you should be able to improve the playing squad with the right purchases, its clear that Man Utd have been performing way below expectations when the amount of money they have spent is taken into account.

I think that what is making the difference is the relative contribution of broadcasting revenue to club income has meant that smaller clubs are able to compete if they are run right.

Clubs like ours, with wealthy owners willing to plough money into the club, are hampered by PSR, because it limits the losses we can allow, so hampering owner investment. The good thing is that it stops us being lazy and means we have to build our commercial revenue to compete.
