The Barnes signing was money best spent elsewhere.

As far as Livramento and Hall are concerned you're completely wrong and a number months ago I said Hall would be Englands left back..... while others said he was useless.

For clarity, I said Hall was an excellent talent and as far as I was concerned was already a Newcastle player so the fee payment date was irrelevant.

I also said Livramento was a top talent, he was regarded as one of the best around. My issue as has been widely reposted was buying a substitute left winger when we had issues at RW, and an issue at RCB.

And for the record I've stated Hall's positioning is absolutely ****ing shocking at times. I stick by this as he's bound to make mistakes being so young. Same with Tino. They both have and will have great games and they will both have games where they are going to make costly mistakes. It's part of improving and learning.

Is Hall best left back in the country? No he's not. YET.
Is Tino best right back in the country? No he's not. YET.

Same can be said with Lewis Miley. It's important to be balanced in both praise and criticism.

The same can be said for Elliot Anderson. The one's on here complaining we've let the best young talent we've produced in years leave clearly haven't watched the lad play in black and white.

They'll then claim others have said negative comments whilst ignoring 90% of the comment.

For example. Lewis Hall is **** at sticking to his defensive position and marking quick right wingers, is narrowed down to someone saying Lewis Hall is ****.

You do realise that we have the world’s best midfielder atm.

Anderson is decent, nothing more, and a CAM which we don’t play. It’s not a loss. The Minteh loss was WAY worse.

I'd agree entirely. Though would add that when I suggested Madueke was a good replacement for Minteh I got shouted down a lot on this forum... doesn't seem such a bad idea now I'd suggest.

I also repeatedly said Madueke would be a great purchase mate. Certainly cannot work out who the **** thought Guehi was a £70m player.

Hall and Livermento are our full backs for the next decade.

Anyone saying they are bad signings are just deluded.

They both played in Englands biggest victory for a long time.

Hall looks absolutely world class by the way. He’s so good on the ball and technically brilliant.

It was obvious he was a top player at Chelsea and many of us knew. I found it bizarre when people said he was **** or that he was a mistake.

It's taken until this season for some to recognise it, but he won player of the month last season after his introduction vs west Ham onwards.

Ultimately it's all good.

Someone is going to get hurt with challenges like that going unpunished. It's a red card all day.
