You are naive if you think Howe is 100% truthful in interviews.
Howe has said it will be difficult which will likely prove an accurate description. There will no doubt be some upheaval with the squad and we will still have to be clever with incoming transfers. My guess is we'll willingly sell at least a couple - thinking Almiron and Wilson as the most likely two. They should raise £40m+ between them. Bruno will be out of our hands if someone goes big and triggers his release clause. Isak and any other player we want to keep, we'll likely shoot down any offers unless they get silly or a player starts to agitate for a move. None of it seems to be anything to worry about overly though - we can sell a few that we won't badly miss and boost our transfer budget. If we have to sell one of our star players, it'll be sad to see them go but we'll be getting a lot for them and can look to replace and push on faster with the funds.
We'll have to wait and see, but I wouldn't be surprised if we get around the £40m mark for the two. They're still decent players and there are already wealthy clubs rumoured to be after both.
