Villa look like they’ll win something before we do. Can see why Emery was first choice ahead of Howe.

Villa had spent vast amounts more than Newcatle before Emery even took over. I said they were ahead of Newcastle in their journey and they are.

When was their takeover ?

Emery is a far more successful manager but Howe's got every chance of becoming just as successful on the evidence so far.

You can't win things unless you're given the chance.

Never understood why a goalkeeper suddenly thinks he can score from a corner. There were 3 Chelsea players behind the goalkeeper when that corner was taken. Why wasn’t one of those three in the box instead of the keeper? The keeper could have taken one of their positions. Absolutely stupid tactic and pleased Chelsea were embarrassed by that second goal.

I was there the day he scored his only goal for us. Not a player I would expect to win us a game or grab a draw.

Only six goalkeepers have ever scored a Premier League goal. There have been approximately 12,000 games. It rarely happens. It’s a stupid tactic.

So you agree it can be done hence why they think they can.

Never said it couldn’t be done. I said it was a stupid tactic.

One goal every 2000 games shows it is a stupid tactic. Even Frankie Clark scored more often then that tactic worked. So obviously a stupid tactic. So obviously I am right.

Simples.
