I agree with him, and I’m not sure it was ever really on. You cannot get to the CL with Murphy, Burn, Longstaff playing regularly. 7th would be a good achievement.

Well the stats say yes you can as we were comfortably in 3rd for a long time with those players playing. The facts literally contradict your argument.
7th would be a disappointment at this stage.
And if we do start winning the top 4 will be right back on, ie a win tomorrow and we're in 5th, 4 points behind 4th with 2 games in hand and better goal difference.
Can we just focus on reality rather than bleak and depressing forecasts of the future.
