We've been safe since the Everton v Fulham game. That defined our season.I've evaluated the situation and taken the rational position that we're safe

Fulham 0-2 Burnley
Alphonse Areola is very lucky. He comes steaming out of his area and bumps into Matej Vydra. The ball may well have come off the goalkeeper's arm when he's outside the box as Vydra attempted to go around him.
If it did, Areola could've been sent off. No excitement from VAR and the Fulham goalkeeper may well have just got away with that one.

Handsome Nick: Leno - Arsenal vs Wolves = Straight red card Areloa - Fulham vs Burnley = No foul The Premier League usage of VAR is shocking. We need competent referees who know what their job as the VAR official is. They aren't there just to back up their friend on the field.
Matt: I didn't know goalkeepers could handle the ball outside of the box now? Shocking VAR, yet again.
Kevin Taylor: Can anyone explain to me how that isn’t a handball outside the box by the keeper? Unbelievable that nothing is given there.
making it up as they goIt’s just sick isn’t it. Make no mistake if that was dubravka it would have been a straight red:Did you hear the excuse just then?making it up as they go
It just goes to show that VAR can be and is manipulated to suit the Ref and Premier LeagueIt’s just sick isn’t it. Make no mistake if that was dubravka it would have been a straight red:

Seeing that Areola incident with Vydra again, the ball clearly comes off the goalkeeper's arm. The goalkeeper is out of the penalty area. Yet stays on.
Truly baffling. We'll add that to the long list of dubious VAR decisions.
the concept is good the manipulation of it is notNever mind Bruce - if VAR's here next season, I'm giving up. It's ****ing disgustingly bad.
the concept is good the manipulation of it is not
Burnley are winning this 0-2
