England are absolutely dreadful. More specifically TAA and Phil Foden. But Carsley has immediately gone with players out of position from the very start.
There were massive flaws today. I think they might look at it and think Howe has a lot more about him, as well as being able to play the way they want to.
England are ****..they haven't won anything since 1966 and Greece have, so England lost to the bigger country.
I love the wumming. Factually correct. But technically not. Greece have won something yes. But this result is an absolute terrible one. We should be hammering them. The reality is yet again an English manager plodding to a **** result. This was a **** show. Simple as. Nothing more than over rated English players ****ing up.
Internationals are football for people who don't like football these days. Country goes wild over Euros, everyone I know who supports a club is bored ****less by it and just wants the real football to start again.
"There were five separate injury absences last season and he has missed more than 60 Premier League matches since arriving at Newcastle four years ago." This is about Wilson, he's actually played just over 100 games, so pretty much has been injured every other game for us.
Carsley shot himself in the face last night - was horrendously embarrassing night for him. If that's the squad your select, be sensible, play a CF not some made up 4-2-2-2 with no strikers, never seen anything as mad as that. If you're going with that ridiculous line up: -----TAA-Stones-Colwill-Lewis -------------------Rice Saka-Bellingham-Palmer-Foden ----------------Gordon Honestly Southgate had to go but just shows how poor the national quality of English coaches is. Potter or Howe are the only two worth trying at this point. Past that you have to go and find someone from outside the isles.
Nah, I'm saying if you are Carsley and you are that adamant that is the best team you can put out against Greece you line them up in a way that plays to their strengths as a group. Personally I would have a very different squad and line up tbh than what Carsley picked. TBH not sure Gordon makes the squad let alone the starting XI for England...
This is the 35 who'd make the squads before the next Euros/WC for me.
