Definitely.. Newcastle aren't going to challenge for top 4 now that Chelsea are back and Villa are the real deal .. 7th would be good imo for us.. then push on
4th. Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool are all better than them and will all finish above them. I have zero doubts about this.
We just literally had a well deserved draw against a team that has one the league 6 times out of the last 7 and is regarded as one of the best teams in the world, if not the best.
You can say the cliche "every game in the Prem is a tough game", but were miles ahead of Everton and have been for years.

I’ve watched a lot of Chelsea games and they do seem raw I give you that. But they are definitely too 4 material and will push the top 3 you suggest are better.
They have a very good squad aswell. So they can probably be consistent.
They also score plenty of goals.

They've got a squad packed with good players and it's started coming together now. I don't see the likes of Chelsea as our competitors.
Newcastle are no different to Brighton Fulham and the other clubs that are just trying to get closer to the bigger clubs.
