Palmer shouldn’t play either purely down to the fact he’s basically a slightly worse version of Foden. My front 4 would be Kane, Foden, Gordon and Saka
I heard a statistic today that in Europe he’s 3rd in terms of goal contributions be it scored or assists. I can’t believe that but it’s true.
It's Palmer or Saka, for me, on the right rather than a Palmer/Foden conversation. Foden should really be found a place in the middle.
City are about to offer Foden a new contract which will make him the highest paid player in the league,I guess they couldn't afford to pay Palmer and let him go.
Palmer had to be sold... Palmers already superior and will only keep getting better.. Foden thought he was the next Gascoigne but he's done nothing for England. This will bear fruit for me more and more over the coming years.
Maybe he could be sold again to us? Gordon and Palmer either side of Isak would be awesome. And Boehly is the only owner mad enough to do it!
To early to call that my man, Palmer has had one decent season with stat padded penalties galore. 9 of his 22 goals in the league last year were from the spot where as Foden scored 19, none of which were pens. Foden has done the business for the last 3/4 years in a City shirt. Foden (24) is at City while City sold Palmer (22) for a reason. Palmer - 1 EPL , 1 LC (Both at City) Foden - 6 EPL, 2 FA, 4 LC, 2 CS, 1 CL, 1 SC, 1 CWC
