Chelsea - a mess. Man U - awful. Yet we’re looking like we’re finishing under both and missing out on Europe completely. That’s not acceptable.

Felt to me that as soon as we got near full strength, we reverted back to the exact same tactics we used two years ago. Dunno just felt a bit predictable again.

Unless arsenal slip up, all we need is to avoid defeat vs man Utd and beat brentford

Oh is that all….lol

Think it’s been a season of ****ty, stupid **** ups and someone should be accountable (not ‘lady luck’). Dortmund, Milan, Chelsea (LC), Forest, Luton (twice), vs 10-man Liverpool. If Howe gets 6th he’s done ok. If he finishes 8th and out of Europe, given the comments from the club, it’s time to move on.

All we had to do was beat Luton at one point.... all this crap about winnable games coming up...they're all loseable.

So you’re saying it takes no more effort to be positive than it does to be negative. So, we might as well all be positive than negative then.

No I'm saying it doesn't matter what people think. There's an amount of milk in the glass.

Think Chelsea will be competitive next season if they keep Poch. They have improved, no doubt.

If Man Utd keep Ten Hag I don't think they'll do much, I also think Spurs will have a bad season.

I can't understand either of you for that....this club has won **** ALL since 1969 and Newcastle would have the best chance of winning something it will ever get. The other domestic competitions are odds against every year and the europa Liverpool couldn't win.

Depends who Chelsea have to sell. But the problem at the top end is you have to evolve, invest in ambitious players, innovate your play and bring up youth successfully and regularly. We paid £40m for Barnes and the youth we have isn’t being played. As soon as it’s possible we go back to the tactics from 2022.

Chelsea will be fine.

If we sign a top right winger, a CB and a replacement for Wilson we will already be massively improved.

This version of Newcastle isn’t winning anything, even the ECL. The core DNA of mediocrity is still there.

Newcastle would have a strong chance of winning a pot that alone is exciting to me. It's beyond strange for toon fans this snobbery when we've won nothing since the moon landing... the big 6 fans do because they are sick of winning things.
