Jota, Jones, Alexander-Arnold, Alisson, Szoboszlai, Thiago, Matip, Thiago Alcantara. All out. Klopp is a liability.
And the fact that when they had a comparable injury crisis last season, they were comparably crap. Only started turning things around when they got their key players back.
Drawing parallels between klopp and Eddie Howe is probably the worst case of mental gymnastics I've even seen on these boards.
Just a bit of fun mate. There are people saying our injury list is all Howe's fault. So applying same logic, Liverpool's injury list is therefore clearly Klopp's fault.
To a point this is correct, though. Klopp also likes a high press and as a result managing fatigue is a challenge. It’s why Liverpool buy players with great injury records. Arsenal and City are different, preferring to control the game and let the ball do the work. Obviously I am not obtuse to the vast differences in budget, but we’ve been spending good money badly. Where Howe is so naive is in buying players who don’t necessarily suit this burnout high press style, and also failing to properly use a squad. We bemoan options but Hall is always on the bench and never appears which is baffling. That’s the kind of small minded political bullshit we haven’t got time for.
We've dropped one place since yesterday dude. Plus we've won 3 and drawn 2 of the last 5 and gone up the table in that time. Brighton are good but not outstanding, they were much better last season.
We were discussing whether top 4 was still in and now we're slowly but surely falling away mate. There's better sides behind us and above us. Top 8 will be a miracle now.
Going backwards and struggling vs cannon fodder. Chelsea are behind so are Wolves and they're both better sides..
