Leeds v Bournemouth was a cracking game to watch on MOTD as a neutral.

Their comeback has probably kept their manager in a job. For now.

Yeah, their high press somehow seems far riskier than ours. They concede a lot of goals on the break.

Teams might figure our strategy out at some point, but at the moment (at least) Eddie is smashing the balance between attacking press and solid defence.

    Hope I haven't just jinxed tomorrow's game.

That penalty call for Man City. What a load of bollocks. That’s a match fixing call.

I do see why it's given. It's one of those where if you are the attacking team you 100% shout for a penalty and if the defending team then you feel aggrieved.
Can't fault the officials, KDB is a class player and definitely bought the penalty, but he made a meal of the fall so it looks worse.

I'd scrub the Mail but the fact he's tweeted himself kind of confirms it <laugh>

If Wilson plays for England he will be retired within 9 months.

Man can't even handle a normal season

I'd be delighted for him if he made it as he's clearly set his heart on it. Would be delighted for us if he didn't because I reckon that break would do wonders for him.

This for me too. Being selfish, I hope he's not picked, but for him it would be an honour.

If he is picked that means he’s banged in the goals and assists for us so it’s a win win for us.

I reckon if he scores today he is on that place.

Big Dan Burn has a shoe in aswell. Imagine if we had Burn Wilson and Trippier in the squad.

We really must be a top six side now.

I’ve watched it again and I agree it was a penalty but a soft one. He does get kicked on the back of the ankle.

Just he flopped down like a fish out of water.

For me it’s a question of did he get kicked? Yes.

Did the kick impede or affect what he was doing? No, he fell like a 3 yo girl having a tantrum. No penalty.

Just watched the highlights of the Forrest Brentford game. 4 penalties could have been given if we use the standard of the KDB penalty claim.

None of them should be penalties on the basis that if the contact is soft and a simulation has happened. Which in KDB case your right.

I don’t know what is a penalty and what isn’t anymore.

I remember when Murphy was pulled and kicked from pillar to post and no pen given against Chelsea
VAR excuse of the century " there wasn't enough in it to award a penalty"

    Jokers the lot of them

    It’s when the narrative fits.

The KDB penalty doesn’t get given to any other team in the PL other than maybe Liverpool.

The PL need the product to be exciting and if Man City start walking away with the title it will become boring. So expect some dodgy decisions for Liverpool Arsenal and Chelsea.

Man City don't need the dodgy decisions to win normally
