Always comes back to the same thing. No commercial revenue means a barely fit-for-purpose structure. Each season is taken in isolation, there's no planning or future. Hence why we only employ managers who can both tow the party line and just about get the club to survive in the PL.

Tbf there's no point looking at the league table until November. If people really think we'll still be in 9th then I'd be telling them to watch more football
 
3-1 but what is Northern Group A? Genuine question. Think I'll head over to the Sunderland Board to find out, didn't know they were playing.
