The we're not deluded, we've had a difficult window, we only had a small pool of players we were looking, and if they aren't the players I want we won't sign anyone type lines being used again.
Club incompetence shining through. I’d just ****ing bin them off, and I’d haul Howe in to ask why the **** we have 5 crap keepers!
Well with any luck this is the last window of bullshit before the new CEO and DoF get involved and sort this tiresome crap out.
Put it this way, we're going to take a good hiding at villa and at home to pool and when we go away to Leeds it'll be a manager under pressure already. Howe needs signings desperately and I think the dressing room will implode early into the season otherwise with Isaks sale happening shortly before.
He does, but him and his nephew have been looking in the wrong direction for over a year and have blown it. This is all on Howe, so he’ll need to deliver results.
Don't get me wrong I have very little sympathy for him if he's had full control after a behind the scenes cock waving exercise. I suppose we don't know for sure if that ever happened, but if it did he's burrowed himself into a mess he didn't need to be in.
Seeing Howe play the likes of Krafth, Ruddy, Targett and Lascelles boils my piss and I’ve invested precisely nowt in the club!!
There's something or someone at the club that's incredibly stubborn regarding transfers. There's a brick wall essentially and I suspect that's why both dofs ran for the hills. While I understand the need for the players to be better I simply believe they can't improve this squad with the money that's available.
And I thought the Muppet Show finished years ago. Yet I come on here to an extended Stadtler and Waldorf Special. If only there was a scrap of evidence to support the whining it would be possible to consider it BUT…
Will Osula played 73 minutes today. John Ruddy played. As did Matt Targett, Jamaal Lascelles and Emil Krafth. Ornstein confirmed we ****ed the Trafford deal. I have no idea what other evidence you need.
It’s a pre season friendly where ALL the squad get minutes to play. And if Ornstein said it, it must be true. So what exactly did we do wrong with Trafford? City had an option, as I understand it, they eventually exercised that option 14 minutes before it expired. We bid higher and they still have the option; we bid earlier and they still have the option. So other than complaining in generals how about saying specifically what we did wrong and what different would you have done. Same point to CC.
So would you have gone for Trafford? If so, what different would you have done? If not, who would you have gone for?
I agree on all 4 mate. Liverpool are about to sell Diaz for 70m which paves the way for them to buy Isak for £130m plus.
