Thank you Brentford, Bournemouth are too erratic to properly challenge for CL

Well yeah lol, but it ain't the be all and end all. Saw 2 finals in the first 30 years or so of supporting us, now I've seen 2 in the last 3 years.

Whatever the result we'll still keep hammering the league.

But also it's Brentfords fifth away win in a row. Does not bode well for next league game.

Very good day of football for us today. Man City, Brighton, Bournemouth all failing to win. With Chelsea playing Arsenal tomorrow then it feels like the kind of weekend where you progress in the league by not playing. 6 of our last 10 games are at home and with one of our away games being Leicester then it looks like a pretty good run in to be honest.

Let's enjoy tomorrow but whatever the result I'm happy we're in a strong position to push for top 5.

Very solid first half from Big Dan on his debut. Looked very composed and adds a threat in the air. Would have been mad if he'd scored that header.

    Generally England in control, but...

Foden is not a right winger
Walker is way past his best (but still gets lauded by pundits because he still has pace).
Rice is slow as **** and just gets in the way (but still gets lauded by pundits for making one or two nice passes).

It’s more or less the same dirge as Southgate gave us. No idea why Foden is playing, or walker.

I hate England at this point! I stopped caring decades ago I think, but now I have reached a point where I hate the English FA and the same old faces boring the living **** out of me.

Burn didn't just play, got the full 90 mins. Very impressive how his career has gone since he joined us.

    How much he cost? 3m?

Thought he was £12m. Great for the lad, what a week.

Chance for a clean slate and Tuchel picks Foden, Rashford, Walker and Henderson. Yawn.

I'm beginning to think most the players are just androids. They can't do anything differently. Tuchel football looks exactly the same as Southgates.

I have no idea the price tbh, just remember it weren't that expensive

I think he was "worth" 3m but we must have spent more than that then
