You never know mate. I was at the Huddersfield game.... They are **** yet we were worse. I'm hoping our **** performances are due to the number of new players and the need for time to get them to gel but our signings haven't inspired me. Even for a Championship team.

 

Mate, I was one of the ones trying to put the Newcastle Board's feet back on the ground telling them the Championship is much much harder then they've been giving it credit for. It was somewhere along the line of the defences are organised and no mess, to get out of it you need to find the formula to score goals. Don't find that and you'll struggle.

I've always thought Rafa doesn't have the attacking instincts to get you scoring freely in that league. I think he's average as a manager. Still think you've got a great chance of coming back up. But some of you lot were going on like you just needed to turn up. Unbeaten seasons and all that ****e. Heavy delusion as always on that board. But a reality check this early should be a good thing. You've got the time to sort it.

 

I thought we would go up but never expected it to be easy. However 2 defeats in a row has surprised me . I guess we just have to see what goes on for the remainder of the season.

 

The bookies don't get a lot wrong and they all have Newcastle as favourites ......... mind you, they didn't get the odds right with Leicester.

If Benitez isn't doing the business by Christmas it'll be 'mutual consent' and Bruce in to get you up imo.

Surely the likes of Perez, Shelvey, etc will find some form.

I said, at the end of last season, that Benitez's biggest decision was who to make captain ......... he got it badly wrong imo.

Sadly, for Newcastle, they don't have any leaders and didn't last season.

 

really, didn't they just try and sell him?

 

Benitez is either a courageous genius or a nutter ......... dropping the captain to appoint a joker like Dummet.

The lad isn't very good and seems a very unlikely leader.

i think he's a chancer. lets see if Dummet can inspire them to hold-on/build on their lead... or cave in.
