Bookies rarely have inside info, odds on stuff like this is more or less always based on betting patterns, as a direct result of rumours.

People will hear rumours of Bruce going and get their money in early. I think most will look at the Irish connections with Quinn/O'Neill, as well as the fact that O'Neill is near enough favourite for every potential vacancy that comes up, then they lump on him.

Bookies, in this instance are actually almost always wrong with their first stab in the dark. Where horse racing is concerned, insider tips can sway the odds, but generally the odds are worked out on form.

He hasn't had anything like a big budget at Molde, in fact he lost his best striker when he arrived. I remember reading this in the Manchester Evening News about 6/7 weeks ago. The guy looks like he is gearing up to be a top boss, which isn't surprising given his mentor, but one thing I would say is he's a very honest person and I think he's said he will see out his contract at Molde FK.

Wouldn't bet on that. They're more Bent than politicians, bankers and ****ta's all rolled into one.

Apart from bookmakers, who benefits from handing over inside info to a bookmaker? If you can give me one legitimate answer I'll take your point, but that's not going to happen.

I guarantee that just before a manager is sacked, people with inside info at the club will lump on with the bookies. The more money flooding in, the quicker the markets are suspended.

Most bookmakers aren't independent any more, which eliminates the old bookmaker/pawnbroker/bent as a nine bob note element, but the new breed of corporate bookmakers could be construed as criminals, as we found out when Pokerstars was exposed as a Ponzi scheme.

You just answered your own question, the BOOKMAKER.
By the way are you a bookmaker by any chance??
