Fraser and Almiron will be on the bench and Murphy won’t make the subs when everyone’s fit. A couple more windows and the subs bench will look half decent. Looking forward to seeing ASM, Wilson and Isak together after they develop some understanding.
If VAR worked really well, then fine, but it interrupts the flow of the game and some of the decisions are inexplicable and/or overstep its remit. I’d take an outrageous **** up or two from the ref/linesmen ahead of keeping VAR as it stands (especially as it seems we still get the former anyway).
These officials know what's going on.. Mason knew that was a goal. There's a lot of grubby hands with alot of money riding on being in the top 6 , so they fiddle things accordingly
It’s the lack of accountability that gets me. With var and assistant plus ref, all looking at slow motion replays from several angles how the **** do they still get it so wrong and nothing needs explanation ever. We have to score 2 or 3 to actually get one allowed
Mason very deliberately avoided showing this pe teacher ref the angle that showed the severity of the push and foul on willock. I'm amazed there's still fans out there questioning whether the refs are capable of using a watch or seeing a video rather than realising what's really going on..
These guys blaming the standard of refs need a brain transplant. Do they really think they can't see what happened surrounded by 100 screens.
Right in front of us and we where shouting penalty for the push before we realised it had gone in. When the ref made the call we thought it was for the goal then for a penalty. Then realised it was for a foul on the GK. An absolute joke. It’s getting weekly now and it’s never for us always against.
It's nothing new especially with Mason... Newcastle have to score 2 or 3 to win games and they struggle. I don't buy into this notion newcastle played well though. It was just long balls and huff and puff.. It was completely devoid of any real quality anywhere on the pitch. Just my view
