    I was only asking. <laugh>

Can you see how we all finally accept it as part of the game? This will happen again and again. The peanut huggers have got it right in my eyes and it will take an injustice against one of the big boys before anything is done.

But the big boys do get injustices. It happens in CL games, mainly in Barca's advantage funnily enough but against some top clubs. The reason the Hawk-Eye tech took so long and is still taking a while in other competitions is because FIFA like there to be 'human' decisions made (rightly or wrongly), so I can't see them doing anything about these sorts of things. Ever.

That's just what I said, we can all think of lost penalties or goals lost by the wrong corner decision etc

I'm not 100% sure Marshie was outside the box when he handled. The MoTD footage was inconclusive due to the angle and, for me, the ball went into his midriff before he caught it at which time the ball was on the penalty box line, so no handball.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. :emoticon-0173-middl

Correct - Marshie's hands didn't touch the ball until it was inside the area - not handball.

Lloris's hand obviously touched the ball well outside the area but no cigar (well, it was Spurs after all).

His foot was planted on the ground outside the box when he touched the ball. Cameras have shown this - handball.

What difference does it make where his foot was? It's where the ball is that counts.

If what you're implying is correct, what if a keeper was laying on the penalty box line with his feet outside and reaching back inside to take the ball which was well inside the area. Would that be handball?

Exactly. The entire ball has to be over the entire line too, no way you can be sure that's what Marshall did. In realtime absolutely no chance. If it's that close you have to be sure, same reason Loris got away with it at ours, even though he was clearly out on the replay. In realtime it was very close.
