Not really. bent wanted to go and it was a good deal for both us and Villa.
Liverpool are really showing signs of desperation and are panic buying at ridiculous prices to get back in to Europe. The big laugh will be if we hold them back and the mags get 7th.place there'll be heads rolling down the streets of Liverpool.
No disrespect to carrol. He may be a terrible person but he is a good striker but not a 35l Million one though. Hence my panic buying remark.

I think it's more a sign of Liverpools desperation. That's why Bruce is sensible to hang fire until the summer when better deals can be had. I'd still like Bruce to bring a striker in, but not at the crazy prices being quoted for players that would probably be squad players in the long term?

It is an absolute crazy price for Carole, and I think it will come back to bite Liverpool on the bum...
RAW,couldn't agree more with what you say about the price of Andy Carroll.It just shows that our Manager knows what he is doing by not "going daft " in this transfer-window.
