Like, I'm sure, many other contributors to this board, I have been subjected to the management brief at work. You're familiar with this, aren't you? Once a month senior executive management gather the workforce together and give them an insight into how the business is performing, present an overview of key initiatives and the like. Quite often the financial performance is deliberately vague because of concerns about leaking sensitive information. At the end of the briefing the workforce slopes back to their stations beneath mutterings of disquiet. Nobody believes they're being given the truth. Everybody believes there's more being left unsaid. And yet you know that they'd all moan even more if the executive management stopped these briefings altogether. Executive management is in a no win situation and they no it. This business of Fernandes' tweets kinda reminds me of all that.
What has redknapp done to deserve respect? The only respect is have for him is if he'd resign asap. I at least believe TF tries his hardest for all his mistakes.
Gives you the impression that TF is not happy with gobshite Redknapp. Naming Faurlin seems like challenge to HR.
Come on, you lot. He's an owner of a club who likes talking with the fans and chatting with them. He replies to people's comments, he meets fans often. Don't be negative! He may say obscure things but it can be fun if in the right moment. He doesn't say anything terribly stupid just tries to keep us a little bit in the know. He can't reveal more than he does.... ... unlike Harry, right?
After all we had to put up with, with the last lot I find it incredible the level of negative and sometimes abusive comments he has to put up with. The bottom line for me is that he cares, is passionate and wants to build something. With those 3 qualities I genuially think we will succeed. So what if he makes mistakes at least we won't end in the wilderness like some clubs that are bigger than us. Be careful what you wish for
2 out on loan he says, didn't Harry say we weren't going to do loan deals only sales? If two are going on loan then that could be Park and Cesar. Two out permanently are anyones guess but I hope Remy isn't one of the four. Barton and Diakite possibly although Barton is just the sort of player we need to win the Championship.
It could be players who's wages are too high and we want to offload for a season in the small hope of returning to the promised land at the first attempt. Cesar and Remy could well fit that profile!
My guess would be Remy and Taarabt out on loan. Four or five out of Cesar, Traore, Park, Granero, Mbia, Luke Young and Diakite will leave. Cesar is certain to leave (might be a loan which might rule out either Remy or Taarabt), so is Traore and Park too imo. Luke Young will be released. And maybe one out of Granero, Mbia or Diakite will also go if there are any suitors willing to match what they're on.
Give TF a break FFS. I can't believe the level of criticism that he is subjected to. We are lucky to have him. He is learning on the job. He will get it right eventually after some costly mistakes admittedly. If he falls out of love with us we are really in the ****ter.
Thats fair enough Uber, so let him speak to his staff & players then. Then shut up and get on with running the company. I'm sure your & my senior management dont then go on-line / twitter and tell the general public the same vague information do they? Wish he'd get of Twitter and just do his job. I like him but the way he constantly tweets is embarrasing.!
Welcome to celebrity soccer! Nothing to do with football. If you want real life football, get a playstation & FIFA 2014! Geez, you guys are fantasising - talking about real life and ****!
Probably fair to say we have a unique situation here at Loftus Road. When you consider all the managers & owners of clubs, we probably happen to have the two most vocal people of them all. Now that could be a good thing ( which I'm OK with ) but it may leave them open for abuse. Harry is Harry and will always have a chat. It may be frustrating at times but overall, I'm OK with him saying as such, providing he does his job and gets results with the team. As far as Tonz goes, I think he is just trying to appease us fans, who, when there is no football, may make comment good or bad, because we are bored, waiting for the season to start or alike. The thing I see with Tonz is that he is trying to be transparent, trying to keep us fans in the loop & up-to-date ................ which is dam nice of him and he should be congratulated for it. I think possibly a number of fans, may be 'old school' like myself who are not used to a club owner jumping on facebook and being vocal. We probably expect the complete opposite from an owner ........... that's pretty much how they have been for many years but Tonz is young, energetic and keen to be seen to be doing well and playing his part, for which again, I have no problem with. They want results, just like us. Bring on the season ! We all have opinions and if we all agreed with each other, the forum would be boring and we'd probably spend less time on here, than we do. Cheers, Aussie.
