Jumped on a bus just for the craic, and ended up in Tonypandy. I haven't been in that area for years, not since my running club days. Passing through villages such as Edmonstown and I think Williamstown, the thought crossed my mind of all the fantastic support that the valleys brought down on match days. With the cost of football today, will we ever see the like of it again? <ok>

MM,

Back in days we used to have 3 special trains come down the valley, by Llwynypia standing room only there was no such thing as a ManU or Liverpool fan and with time it can come back.

I hate it when ex Cardiff fans buy Liverpool shirts of their kids, my hope is to see kids in Cardiff tops,

Originally from the valleys. I know a big group of lads that all come down from ferndale and also travel away in big numbers for our beloved bluebirds.
When i get back for the games i often travel down to cardiff with the nutters;)..lovely boys even if a tad crazy.
so the answer to your question maskedman, i believe there to still be a healthy following from around that area and suspect with our current form and position for it to only get bigger and better.

I go on the Con Minibus to home games this season, we are going to Huddersfield next Saturday. Yeah known James for years played football with him back in the day.

I'm from Pentre originally but moved to Ferndale when I got married. The Mrs is from Ferndale.
