We've got Big Mak, Igor, KAG, Lookman and Reza. Oh and Vaz Te. 6 strikers. And we're still reliant on Jacko when a goal is needed...............

KAG needs to go back to the youth for his own good. lookman needs a new contract and only be used till igor gets fit or gets some form back. on paper, Reza, Mak, Igor and Vaz Te should be enough.

I really like Watt and gutted he's gone, but you can't argue with the results we've had when he hasn't played.

Watt being outed is the final straw for me...!!

I had a niggling suspicion that something like this was going to happen when Vaz Te came in.

F*****g club is fast becoming a circus...!!

Rumours rumours. Fell out with the manager, other players. Was a bad influence in the dressing room. Until recently, he was tweeting that he knew he was playing badly and needed to improve. Does'nt sound like a bad attitude to me. We don't know what goes on at Sparrows lane, but really, this is such a brainless decisión. We let him drift off the way we did Morrison (now captain at a club quite a few places higher than us). There do seem to be fitness issues with TW, but our coaching staff are unable to sort it out??? Sorry, but we knew what we were getting when he signed, and now he'll sail away on an undisclosed free.
Katrien, please do me a favor and bugger off.

What is this "rivals" nonsense you are all on about? Since when have Cardiff been our rivals?

If you mean they are in the same division, I suppose a third of all football transfers are between clubs in the same division.

I do not think Cardiff are in any danger of relegation and I sure as hell do not think we are in any danger of promotion, so what makes them our "rivals"?

If fact it makes perfect sense. If he did well at a lower level club it would still not prove he is good enough for Charlton. And there is nil chance of a higher level club playing him. I believe there is a clause that he cannot play against us?

Wales is a different country as far as FIFA and EUFA is concerned. That is why they have their own national team. Obvious, I would have thought.

Reza does not want to be here, Igor is woefully unfit, Makienok will not get us 10 goals, Vaz Te is very short of match fitness.

Between the four of them they will not get 15 goals this season.

Surely a capable manager could get the best out of a player with an attitude. Look at people like Joey Barton, he had a terrible attitude, but a strong manager got the best out of him.

I put it down to all these terrible twats we get from fifth rate divisions

I really don't buy into the whole 'bad attitude' propaganda.

Watt was very honest and open about his level of performance when the same could've been said for at least half a dozen others.

If that's the actions of someone with a poor attitude I'm a dutchman...!!

With the way we play and the chances we create I'll be gobsmacked if any of our forwards manage to bag a respectable number of goals.

Much like Morrison, Watt is better off out of it...!!

Knew the attitude thing would come up ,we knew what he's like hen we signed him he's not the first player to be off the wall most Mavericks are .
He is the type of player who excites the crowd gets people talking buns on seats .
Once we sell him in Jan we will hear how terrible he was bah blah blah.
Target 20,000 cough cough laugh laugh needs a Tony Watt.
Once again this mob have shot themselves in the foot.
Garza would of been got rid of if he'd been with us Andy Cole too !

I think it's to do with Vaz te coming in (cheaper) and Lookman being involved with the first team. I don't trust these Belgian bastards, and they try to save money anywhere they can. Or maybe he is just pissed off that he was being managed by a woefully under qualified Head coach! Because I know Jbg is and he will be gone by the summer.

I think it's also to do with the transfer of watt to us being investigated. I'm sure a bit of wedge will be sent to liege when the moves permanent.

I didn't think the international clearance was obvious, considering they are a part of our league? Nor have I heard of it when players have crossed the boarders in to Scotland, let alone Wales where we share the league?

He'll be gone in January if an offer is acceptable to Micky and Minnie.

I wrote something about that one here about Duchâtelet being sued by Standard Liege over his transfer. I think his whole network thing is more dodgy than Del Boy's moody gear. If he gets sold, pretty much like with Gomez sale, the team are going to see absolutely nothing of that.

He's being investigated by the press in Belgium. It would be amazing if the English joined in.

It would be good, but as we see time and time again; only the local press actually care about lower league teams. If we were a Premier League club, he'd be plastered all over the press. He'd also be heavily criticised for the managerial and player policy. I think there's a reason why he buys teams that are not top flight or in a pedigree league.

Yes, I think that would be best. Thank you for being constructive and not being offended.

Just send anything you propose to post to me to vet. I will edit where necessary and post on your behalf in my name. Anything which is complete rubbish I will ignore. Please note that I will be too busy to enter into discussions about my judgments.

We could give this a trial for a few weeks and, if successful, I will approach the moderators about making it mandatory for all posters in the Charlton section to do the same. Should improve the quality of posts here no end.

    Merry Christmas!
