In a tweet posted at 04:36 this morning TF said this in reply to a fan.....

@radiobrogy: @tonyfernandes loved the enthusiasm for our club when you took over. Love the constant enthusiasm . But, perhaps it's time for a change

@tonyfernandes: @radiobrogy as I've said will go as soon as fans want me to. End of the season. Got to fight and focus till then.

Enigmatic, but according to a few on here the sky may be about to fall in. Run away, run away!

He'll go as soon as the fans want him to go sounds like a ready made excuse to me. I think I preferred it when when Tango and Cash made it abundantly clear that they didn't give a **** what the fans thought. At least they were honest (about that at least).

Very worrying. As previously mentioned, he's always made it sound like he's got a ready made excuse to leave when **** hits the fan, and has transferred the blame firmly at the fans feet.

This sounds like a rehash of what he has said before and that if he feels that he is not the best person to be Chairman he will step aside and let someone else take the reins but that his investment will stay.

So I don't think that it is anything to get concerned about.

Who's concerned? As long as he writes off his portion of the £250m wasted when he goes and apologizes for getting us in the position of being a league below when he joined and losing £70m a year, with no tangible developments in 4 years, fine. None of these blokes last forever, even Jim Gregory was only with us 20 years.

Sad isn't it when you crystalise it like that.

He's frankly clueless, everything he's done has turned to shyte and our debts are increasing at an unsustainable rate. If he remains in place we'll be bankrupt in no time at all. Good job I know where a lot of Conference grounds are...

I for one can't wait for our knight in shining armour to ride in on his rainbow coloured unicorn that ****s money, who has extensive footballing knowledge and who will passionately back our club through thick and thin, his name is.........erm.......Oh that's right, everyone assumes Amit will step in and take over and what happens when he doesn't? Who's going to invest in a team that struggles to fill a 19k stadium quite often? People who think the grass is greener are probably the ones who don't remember the collection buckets outside the ground, either that or they are demented idealists who would rather have 'our club back' and play in league one for the next 10 years.

And where, might I ask, are we to find a replacement who is a "football man" (as this is what the most vocal seem to think that TF isn't).
I'd prefer a competent businessman than a 'football man'. We are partly in this mess because Fernandes listened to football men' like Warnock, Hughes and Redknapp. All of this cash has been wasted on player transfers and especially wages, and these mugs wanted the players.
