its on twatter that his agent says Martial wants to leave the Mancs... sinking ship? Top newsView all Link to headline article Martial wants to leave Manchester United, his agent confirms Anthony Martial wants to leave Manchester United, according to his agent.
Apparently we have expressed an interest in taking Marcus Rashford on loan ... thought it was a wind up ... but apparently not ... if Jose sends that kid out on loan he has seriously lost the plot ...
After being trained in Jose's tactics for a couple of seasons Martial'll probably be a top class CB please log in to view this image
Don’t blame him. Exactly the wrong kind of player/character for Mourinho to manage. He’ll go on to be a very good player at a club that looks after his fragile ego.
Get a grip, he's not lazy at all, the manager is just looking at short term fixes all the time instead of developing players. When your manager makes it clear he doesn't rate you why not get pissed off and want a move? Jose has looked at a young talented player and decided he doesn't want to develop him he just wants to buy the ready made product.
I think Tony comes with baggage. Mourinho can’t be arsed with it. SAF was brilliant at dealing with players like that.
You lot will be charged about £60m more than any other club if we agree to sell. Levy will start crying and saying how unfair things are before settling for Shaqiri for £45m.
I suppose we can't say too much as Sterling did this to us but I just look at Jose's record and wonder how much of this is caused by the manager. Lots of talk about Rashford wanting out, could be nonsense but surley that can't happen.
He hasn't made it clear he doesn't rate him. Martial is asking to be paid as much as some of the club's highest earners and he hasn't earned it yet. I'd imagine if we want to sell him it will be to a club like Juve or Atletico in exchange for one of their star players. Possibly Chelsea for Willian.
He doesn't get the opportunity to prove it under Jose though. The French lads do have an ego but I can't help thinking this is down to Jose.
He's had loads of opportunities mate, I dunno where this view has come from? He consistently loses possession by over complicating things, perhaps that's a confidence thing, he might need soft managed to get that going again but I'd rather we didn't pander to the players and they just manned-up. Lingard has thrived, he has about 1/5th of the natural talent that Martial has. I'm no fan of Jose but there's no way Fergie would have accepted this level either, he dropped Nani bare times for the exact same reasons. Remember how Fergie used to pick Park Ji Sung for the big games and leave out players like Tevez or Berbatov. He even dropped Rooney for Welbeck at the Bernabeu. It's a myth that Fergie wouldn't do what Jose is doing.
You'd know better than me but I've watched a few games with Sanchez bimbling about with Martial and Rashford on the bench.
Happens all the time, but it's about building a squad to get the best out of everyone. Do you lot just stick with what you've got cos the forward three are firing on all cylinders? Letting the kids run riot is a gamble and Jose isn't a gambler. Maybe Poch or Klopp would do it, but they're serial losers.
The truth is one of them is surplus to requirements as we've too many vying for the same position. We'll probably get decent money for Martial so it looks like it's him, can't see Rashford ever leaving at all, where's he going to go? City? No way, anything else is completely down hill as all young players who've left United have found. We can probably lose Martial without noticing really. Which is a shame as I thought he had everything in him to be a new Thierry Henry, eventually moving to centre forward. Wasn't to be.
I'm hoping we do give a couple of kids a go this coming season Wilson and Woodburn look very good and instead of buying more midfielders and forwards we should give them time. Might give us the cash for a decent keeper then.
