Im 110 per cent behind TF and HR next season. We just need to rebuild our team with a young, hungry group of players mixed with a few old heads who we have at the moment (Derrys, Hills, Mackies). No more Prima donnas who live on past reputations please. Lets build a team again that we are proud to support.
Agree with this, though I would point out that buying 'hungry young players' (particularly British ones) is expensive. The tag 'big-spending' seems to have become attached to us permanently this season, and, of course, TF quite likes it. You could argue we didn't spend enough, though. Certainly, spending (relatively) little on transfers and lots on wages hasn't worked. Given we haven't got an academy or youth players that HR rates, TF is going to have to carry on spending, though in a different way.
Next Harry will say, "never again on my watch"! Only messing. I'm happy to take TF at his word, especially since there is no alternative!
