Posted the official one for tomorrow already but its dropped off. Prem streams should be better but we'll see.
Wealthy people did not get wealthy by passing up options like a £45m sponsorship deal. Nike have flexed their muscles and it's BS to suggest that the style is like it is because there wasn't time to design an alternative - TF has been hinting at this deal since last summer for pities sake. However, it's great to see him acknowledging that its not what the fans want and that after the piper has been paid we will return to the traditional style. Contrast and compare to the shenanigans of Vincent Tan. For a club of QPR's current size it's hard to believe there could be a better owner IMO.
The more cynical among us will be sated when the account show the clubs debt going down with each of these great deals. Yes we could do worse, but doing better is no crime.
Very nice Tone, but even I struggle to believe you are doing all this from the goodness of your heart. Just about all housing new builds nowadays have to include a proportion of affordable/social housing, so that was a given anyway. What he has done is confirm that he wants to do a lot more than just build a stadium, which also confirms where he and the other owners are going to get their cash back, and more, from. Excellent.
Agree. The pressure to build more and more houses is growing, and the inclusion of housing in the project is a huge plus.
